Apprenticeship as a Commercial Employee at the GS-FDHA
Kick-start your career with us: the General Secretariat of the FDHA offers an administrative apprenticeship position each year.
Three years of basic training in the workplace
During your three-year apprenticeship at the General Secretariat, you work in various departments, including: Business and Archive Planning; Human Resources; Federal Commission against Racism; Federal Bureau for the Equality of People with Disabilities; Finance;
Federal Supervisory Authority for Foundations. In addition, you manage projects both within your department and across different areas. During these three years, you attend the compulsory vocational school WKS and take intercompany courses at the federal training centre.
Varied tasks
- You distribute mail to employees and handle correspondence for the head of the Department.
- You manage onboarding and offboarding processes at the General Secretariat of the FDHA, assist with the recruitment of new employees, student interns and apprentices, deal with personnel matters, and help to ensure occupational health and safety in the workplace.
- You hold meetings with customers, take minutes and request quotations.
- You occasionally check deliveries and issued invoices and assist with bookkeeping.
- Alongside your practical training and school-based work, you also attend intercompany courses at the Federal Administration Training Centre.
