The Federal Office for Gender Equality fights for equality in family life and in the workplace. The office provides funding for projects promoting equal opportunities for women and men in the workplace and counselling centres. It also develops projects that aim to ensure equal pay.
The FOGE's Violence Prevention Service is devoted to preventing violence in couples. The Secretariat of the Federal Commission for Women's Issues is attached to this office.
